Things
-Dropped my car off at the body shop this morning. They'll have it for at least a week. I forgot to mention that my mother backed into my front-end a couple of weeks ago, and she managed to cause over $1,000 in damage... before I even made my first payment. I'm driving mom's car today but will probably be driving a rental until they're finished fixing my car. Hopefully the rental car isn't much sweeter or more awesome than my car, because I like my car pretty hard and I don't want to start not liking it. My mother has a Honda CR-V, and I don't like driving it because it's giant compared to my car. Driving a giant car makes me feel like an asshole.
-I finally made it to the point where I can consistently run a single lap around the track, actually running. On an impromptu Sunday morning run yesterday, I managed to run an entire lap, and the straightaway to the next corner. One day at a time I guess, I'm just a very impatient person and would like to see results a little faster than I've been. Of course if I were to quit smoking I'd be able to run a lot further than I can now, but that's a promise I'm not yet willing to make. Speaking of quitting smoking, I did quit for almost 72 hours, but I'm afraid I'll need to learn a coping mechanism other than setting something on fire and inhaling the smoky results before I can give quitting a real go.
-The size 10 jeans I referenced in one of my previous posts are about to be replaced with a size 8. But, due to financial reasons, I'll be keeping these 10's held up with a makeshift belt for another three weeks. Fucking financial reasons. I hate you.
-Winter is coming, I can feel it in my bones. Expect either a whole lot of nothing on here from me, or a whole lot of thinly veiled threats to my own life and/or the lives of other people. Don't worry though, once the sun manages to be up for both my morning and evening commutes again, I'll be fine.
